All renters are required to provide proof of Insurance coverage to rent the hall. Insurance Requirement: $2 million general liability certificate provided to Tangier Shriners 60 prior to rental.*

RENTER is responsible for an $85 nonrefundable cleaning fee.*

Two hours of set-up time is included in the room rental. The RENTER is responsible for paying for additional set-up time at $125/hr.*

The property must be vacated and ready for lock-up at the end of said rental agreement.*

Parking in reserved spaces is not allowed without prior authorization.*

No cooking in the building without prior agreement. Use of serving areas included in rental agreement.*

A deposit of half the room rental is required upon execution of this contract to reserve the rental date. The remaining amount is due 30 days prior to event. *

Deposit and additional payments will be refunded if the OWNER is notified at least 60 days prior to rental date (excludes Security Fees).*

The RENTER is assuming all liability and responsibility for any damages to premises, contents, and surrounding areas. *

The RENTER is assuming all liability and responsibility for any and all infractions or actions during the rental period.*

No smoking allowed in the building.*

If Alcohol will be served at the event both a Uniformed Police Officer and a Security Guard are required This must be paid for when the deposit is taken and is not refundable.*

All Alcohol must be purchased from the OWNER.*

No beverages are allowed outside the confines of the building. This includes the smoking area.*

Must abide by applicable Nebraska Laws. No illegal drug use or underage drinking of alcoholic beverages is permitted on the property. No illegal activities are permitted.*

No behavior or activity that would reflect negatively on the Tangier Shriners.*

Free standing decorations that do not attach to walls, fixtures, ceiling, fans, or doors are permitted.*

The RENTER is not allowed to use nails, packing tape, or duct tape, to hang decorations. No open flames are allowed in the building, such as candles and fireworks.  Battery powered or electric candles are permitted.*

LATE CHARGE: A late fee of $50.00, shall be added and due for any payment of rent made after the 30 days prior to the rental date. Any dishonored check shall be treated as unpaid rent, and subject to an additional fee of $50.00.

DESTRUCTION OF PREMISES: If the premises become totally or partially destroyed during the term of this Agreement so that RENTER'S use is seriously impaired, OWNER or RENTER may terminate this Agreement immediately upon three days written notice to the other.

NOTICES: All notices to RENTER shall be served at address given to OWNER and all notices to OWNER shall be served at the rental address.*

OWNER or RENTER may be excused from this agreement in times of national or state emergency.*

HOLD HARMLESS: You agree that Tangier Shriners are not responsible for any items personal or otherwise brought into the event facility or in the facility’s parking lots that are lost, stolen, damaged or otherwise lose value. *

HOLD HARMLESS: RENTER specifically waives and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Tangier Shriners, its agents, employees and assigns, from any claims, loss or damage to any guests, vehicles or others as a result of the use of said event space, adjacent areas, parking lot and Tangier Shriners site or areas traversed to access said event space, unless said claim, loss or damage is the result of Tangiers Shriners, its employees, or agents, direct intentional misconduct. *

ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between OWNER and RENTER. No oral agreements have been entered into, and all modifications or notices shall be in writing to be valid.*

RECEIPT OF AGREEMENT: The undersigned RENTER have read and understand this Agreement and hereby acknowledge receipt of a copy of this Rental Agreement. *
