Show the world — or least people in Nebraska — you’re a Shriner with a specialty Nebraska license plate showing your support for Shriners International!

We are spearheading a campaign to create specialty plates showcasing the Shriner mission. You do not need to be a Shriner to support this license plate project!

We must submit a minimum of 250 PREPAID applications from individuals for purchase of our Shriners plate before it will be issued by the State of Nebraska.

Here’s how you can help us meet this goal AND show off you’re a Shriner!

(You can also pick up application forms from the Tangier Shrine Office, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Fill it out to the best of your ability. Much of the required information on the form can be found on your Vehicle Registration Form (vehicle pink slip). Please note that the registered owner of the vehicle must sign the signature line.

There are TWO ways to submit your application and payment:
Write a check for $70.00 to Tangier Shrine. (Plus write: “Shrine License Plate“ in the memo line.)

Or drop it off to the Tangier Shrine Office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Reserve and pay for your application online.



You may pay for your application using debit or credit card. A 3% card processing fee will be added to your application (total of $72.10). You will need to upload your completed Nebraska Shrine License Plate Application as part of the online reservation process. You can upload it as a PDF or image file. After submitting online, please retain the original application.


Please note: If we do NOT reach the minimum of 250 applications by May 31, 2023, we will return your check OR refund your online payment (minus the $2.10 credit/debit card processing fee).
